Anderson Inn

We habe lived here since August and the price is very affordable,the staff is amazing. The rooms need a little update, but for what you pay a week we couldn't ask for a more comfortable place.

My stay at the Anderson inn was amazing the staff was so attentive that they were twitching with anticipation to help me with whatever they wanted to. Outside of making a few new friends with some of the kindest crackheads I had ever met, the bed bugs were even more hospitable they put in a team effort to give me a back rub while I continued to stay up on the half gram of meth that I bought right next door to the room I was staying in. Everyone in the motel seem to know the area very well almost as if they live there. Great location, did not have to walk very far to go grab a meth pipe from one of the many cozy haji marts. The lack of light bulbs in the room, due to an overage of meth usage, gave me that at home feeling because I also black light bulbs in my house. Not to mention every time I heard a scream or a thud nostalgia would wash over my body reminding me of the friendly conversations my parents would have as I was growing up. You could tell whoever had designed the outside of the motel cares about the guests safety, indicated by the prison cell block aesthetic, reminds us to make sure that we are careful with the drugs that we buy and sell there (which were almost as good as the drugs I got in prison). I will be sure to recommend a stay at the inn to all of my friends, but if you are a normal person who actually likes to sleep and has no clue what a shadow person is just go stay in your car.

Since I've been at the Anderson inn motel, I've been treated with respect from the owners, the management at the motel, Mr meet is always ready to fix or correct any problems that comes to his attention. He's shown great interest in helping everyone, this motel is a great place to live because of Mr meet and his interactions with the tenants. It's clean,and comfortable, can't ask for a better motel in anderson. Keep up the good work Mr meet, have a blessed day,thank you.

I have stayed at this location on previous trips from 2007 on when it was a Motel 6 and always found it satisfactory and inexpensive, plus it's always nice to come back to a place where they have gotten to know you and welcome you with open arms. I was a bit disconcerted to find that it was no longer the same Motel and the the one I was familiar with had moved around the corner. The reviews weren't that great for the Motel 6 but I decided to drive over there and check it out anyway. I didn't see any sign that you could park in front of your room at the new Motel 6, which is important to me, and the lobby and reception room there reeked of unpleasant old smoke smell as soon as I walked in. When the man behind the counter said it would be $65 for one senior to sleep there I said I would think about it and left. In the past I have usually paid 30 to $35 a night for a room! I decided to come here and see what I thought, maybe ask to see a room. When I looked on Yelp I saw the pictures and the rooms didn't look too bad, rather nice in fact. I liked the two ladies behind the counter when I came in and asked questions and decided to go ahead and get a room for one night and see what I thought. There was no smoke smell in either the office or my room. When I told them I kind of like being close to the office they offered me Room 101 which is actually a handicap room. I have stayed in handicap rooms on occasion in the past and had no problem with them so I said okay. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was pretty and extremely comfortable, the price included a small refrigerator and microwave which Motel 6 never did, the bathroom was huge and there is a small desk in the corner. I I have posted pictures of the room from various angles. As you can see my pictures are not much different than the pictures the motel posted. Everything was not only pretty but exceedingly clean. The TV gets good reception and the plumbing works fine. I'd rather save a little money and not get the so-called "free" amenities like lotion and shower caps at a place that charges $20-30 more per night. If I don't bring my own I can always buy some of the local Dollar Store. Internet is free!! And works well. I liked the place so much I decided to stay here longer. As the ladies point out, the motel is 60 years old, but I think they have made it look very nice for its age. The rate is higher on the weekends than during the week and it was still more than I had paid in the past, but I did get a discount and it was still less than the stinky/smokey Motel 6. Oh, and they have all day coffee too which I like because I can be a late starter and it was sometimes difficult for me to get up to the office by 10 a.m. to grab a cup of coffee in the morning as I had to do at the other Motel. Plus I like the fact that I'm already familiar with the location and feel comfortable here. I feel totally safe, another plus. They do have a weekly rate and I think I heard there was a monthly rate also but I'm not sure how long I will be here this trip so I haven't utilized that so far.

Clean and very comfortable. Impeccable staff!! If you aren't happy they make things right and are happy to do so. The staff from the front desk all the way to maintenance, are extremely nice and proffesional!! The staff make this a great stay!! Even better than the more expensive hotels I have stayed in. Housekeeping checked in daily to see if we needed anything. Even Comfort Suites didn't do that!!!

We love this place, we're gone get a room for life..

The staff are fair and honest. They treat you how you treat them. The rooms are nice and remodeled. Night manager keeps the peace and kicks out trouble makers. Was very helpful with getting a room. You can't beat 50$ Flat for a hotel room. Free WiFi. And every food place you can think of almost within walking distance. Tons of shopping too. Great place to stay. Would recommend to others.

Great Value! Had a "new" room - new carpet, new paint, new mattress! Was an old Motel 6 but now is very nice. Friendly welcoming staff. Takes dogs too! I recommend a try... the best price deal in Anderson!

Car broke down on my trip south. Could have been a major disaster. I had already checked out but this family business allowed me to stay in the parking space a few hours past checkout time to get it serviced. I really appreciated that they didn’t rush me out the door but made me a little less worried. They let me use the internet to search for a mechanic and gave me directions. In my panic to get the car repaired, i left valuables behind which they held onto for my return. Anderson should be very proud to have such friendly and decent, honest considerate people as part of the business community. By the way, the room was quiet, clean and very inexpensive. Prices are great. But the housekeeper is excellent. She makes sure these rooms are cleaned for the next person. More people need to appreciate her for the work she does.
